Sin embargo, en aquella ocasi\u00f3n, los manifestantes incurrieron en un gran error hist\u00f3rico, ya que ellos pensando que se trataba de la imagen de Cornelio Saavedra (fundador de Lumaco), se equivocaron de figura y arrancaron una en honor al h\u00e9roe de la Batalla de la Concepci\u00f3n, como fue Ignacio Carrera Pinto, cuya incumbencia en la historia de Chile no tuvo relaci\u00f3n alguna con el proceso de fundaci\u00f3n de fuertes militares en la zona de la Araucan\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy, un grupo de j\u00f3venes de Capit\u00e1n Pastene, con  apoyo de vecinos de \u00e9sta ciudad y de Lumaco, decidieron recuperar el busto de bronce del h\u00e9roe de la Guerra del Pac\u00edfico, lanzado al r\u00edo Lumaco que fue donado hace varios a\u00f1os por la junta de vecinos de Lumaco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La recuperaci\u00f3n de la pieza fue avisada a Carabineros de Chile, ya que existe una denuncia en fiscal\u00eda por la sustracci\u00f3n de la pieza y avisado al regimiento de la Ciudad de Victoria, quienes tienen la intenci\u00f3n de restaurar la imagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\"
